The Hague University of Applied Sciences asked us to help attract students to their annual open days. These open days were part of the orientation process and played a major role for potential students in making the right study choice.
As making a study choice has a major impact on a student’s future, the platform was fine-tuned to their journey. It offered students ways to discover their interests, what they wanted to study and the student life in The Hague and Delft.
The platform was designed to be visually attractive for students. To improve engagement, the ‘interest’ game was created to let them discover their study of interest in a fun way.
Students chose photos that best matched their interests and got results based on their choices. The Facebook integration offered them the opportunity to share their results and discover potential classmates. The videos on the platform helped students learn more about all the studies.
For a full experience of the university, 360 degree virtual reality videos were created that enabled students to experience the atmosphere of all campuses.
We built a smart system where students could register until three hours before the open day. During the event, the system switched so the students could register at the event location. This smart system also offered The Hague University of Applied Sciences the ability to export the registration details into their internal administration systems.
