Reinventing the real estate industry with Kondor Wessels Vastgoed

A few days ago, I heard a truism that applies to every industry: whatever your goals may be, they mean nothing if your customers can’t find you. In this digital age, if you’re not online, you’re losing business.

This is especially true in real estate, where aesthetics and customer experience reign supreme. Prospective buyers can and will research potential properties before ever viewing them in person. Your online presence needs to be on point to capture their attention.

Kondor Wessels Vastgoed, a Dutch real estate developer, recognized this imperative. They developed a new brand proposition, “Create to inspire”, and needed their digital experience to reflect that. We partnered with them to strategize, design, and build a new corporate website that would improve their online presence and accurately reflect their unique brand identity.

A new kind of real estate development

Even the best brands can fall victim to digital sameness, and Kondor Wessels Vastgoed was no exception. When they reached out to us, they were struggling to differentiate themselves from their competitors. They knew they wanted to disrupt the real estate industry, but their website was outdated and no longer in line with their customers’ expectations. 

Initially, Kondor Wessels Vastgoed asked for a new website that would improve their performance marketing objectives, like search engine optimization (SEO) ranking and lead generation. Together, we decided to take the project a step further: we created a refreshed brand personality based on their new “Create to Inspire” proposition and its accompanying values.

We started by defining a tone-of-voice and brand image that matched the proposition. This enabled us to be consistent in how we addressed and approached potential customers, and clearly communicate the Kondor Wessels Vastgoed brand and company values. 

Refurbishing the brand

Real estate is typically seen as a conservative industry that’s largely unresponsive to innovation. Companies usually opt for conservative web designs that are nearly identical to each other. 

We made sure to incorporate Kondor Wessels Vastgoed’s brand values: innovative, daring, and creative, into the new user experience (UX). We created a visual identity that reflects the brand and differentiates Kondor Wessels Vastgoed from the competition. 

The website was built with a cost-effective and user-friendly approach by using Wordpress, HTML, and CSS. We integrated a content management system and added several design elements that redirect customers’ focus towards contacting Kondor Wessels Vastgoed. The end product proves websites don’t have to be overly complicated or expensive to be effective.

By opting for a custom-designed website, Kondor Wessels Vastgoed emerges as an original and inventive brand that moves the needle forward in the real estate industry. The website stands out by providing a smooth customer journey and an exceptional user experience.
