Digital Project Management Internship

There is a reason why there is no such Major called "Bachelor of Science in Project Management" because it cannot be taught through books. It is something that you learn through experience. And that experience can start with us, at DPDK.

You will be part of a team of Project Managers who form the beating heart of the company. You’ll be the point of contact for both clients and colleagues from different departments such as Business Directors, Designers, Developers, Strategists and other specialists. With the help of your colleagues, you connect the client’s business problems and needs to digital solutions that give them an edge in the digital landscape. You are involved in multiple stages of the business, including helping lead projects from pitch to go-live and beyond. Besides working for clients, you also help our business be successful by working on internal projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Create visually stunning and cohesive design elements for digital and print media, including logos, brochures, banners, social media graphics and more
• Assist in developing brand identities that effectively communicate our clients' core values, message and unique selling propositions
• Collaborate on web design projects, ensuring user-friendly and visually appealing digital experiences for our clients' websites
• Work closely with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide design solutions that align with their goals
• Brainstorm and generate innovative design ideas to meet project objectives
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, industry best practices and competitor analysis to incorporate fresh ideas into your designs
• Be open to constructive feedback and continually refine your designs based on client and team input

REQUIREMENTS

• Excellent communication skills
• Proactive attitude
• You are structured and organized and like to create to-do lists & get them done
• You pay great attention to details in your work
• You are passionate about digital craft, production, and technology
• Strong personality and ability to get the best out of your tea or coffee
• On top of that, we also expect you to be meticulous in your work so we can bring out exceptional results for our clients
• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant degree program in a Dutch University (2025)
• Fluent in the English language both written and spoken, speaking Dutch is a plus
• Available preferably for a 5+ months internship, full-time (40 hours per week)
• Ability to work from the Rotterdam office twice a week
• Available to start end of January 2026

OUR RECRUITMENT FLOW 

1. Optional Initial Call, 15-minute call with a Talent Acquisition Team for an English check and a brief questionnaire.
2. HR Interview, up to a 30-minute interview with a Talent Acquisition Team to discuss culture check and expectations.
3. Technical Interview, up to 45-minute technical discussion with our experts.
4. Optional Final Interview, up to a 30-minute employee conditions meeting with the Manager and People Partner.
5. References, we’ll request references at this stage.
