Brand Design Intern

As a Brand Design Intern at DPDK, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to our creative and design projects. You will work closely with our talented team of designers and play a vital role in creating compelling visual identities and branding solutions for our clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Create visually stunning and cohesive design elements for digital and print media, including logos, brochures, banners, social media graphics and more
• Assist in developing brand identities that effectively communicate our clients' core values, message and unique selling propositions
• Collaborate on web design projects, ensuring user-friendly and visually appealing digital experiences for our clients' websites
• Work closely with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide design solutions that align with their goals
• Brainstorm and generate innovative design ideas to meet project objectives
• Stay up-to-date with design trends, industry best practices and competitor analysis to incorporate fresh ideas into your designs
• Be open to constructive feedback and continually refine your designs based on client and team input

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant degree program in an Dutch University (2025)
• Available to start beginning of January 2026
• Available preferably for a 5+ months internship, full-time (40 hours per week)
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
• Ability to work from the Rotterdam office twice a week
• Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools
• Strong creative and conceptual thinking abilities
• Excellent attention to detail and an eye for visual aesthetics
• A strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for branding and design

OUR RECRUITMENT FLOW 

1. Optional Initial Call, 15-minute call with a Talent Acquisition Team for an English check and a brief questionnaire.
2. HR Interview, up to a 30-minute interview with a Talent Acquisition Team to discuss culture check and expectations.
3. Technical Interview, up to 45-minute technical discussion with our experts.
4. Optional Final Interview, up to a 30-minute employee conditions meeting with the Manager and People Partner.
