As the leading European venture capitalist firm, Atomico launches an annual report known as the State of European Tech (SoET), providing valuable insights into the European tech ecosystem. For the SoET 2022 launch, Atomico partnered with us to design the report and create a remarkable website dedicated to this flagship event.
With the challenge of consolidating over 400 pages of insights, data sets, and charts into an appealing and user-friendly experience, the emphasis was on balancing legibility and aesthetics, ensuring that the information presented was easily digestible.
We tackled this by introducing visual representations of data in the form of expanding blobs that grow larger to symbolize ever-evolving data. The animated blobs float around the homepage and website lobby, adding an engaging and interactive element to the overall experience.
To blur the lines between print and digital design, we developed innovative features for a truly exceptional reading experience. The website incorporates book-like navigation, categorizing content into chapters and specific topics. Reading tracks offer a summary of information based on readers' available time.
