User Experience (UX) Design Internship

Join us as a UX Design intern and become a core member of the DPDK Design team by helping make exceptional ideas into reality! We are looking for someone passionate for and with an intuitive understanding of user expectations, who can combine relevance with innovation. Our ideal UX designer thrives in a high-paced, highly demanding environment, and feels at home within a dynamic team.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Challenge and inspire team members of every discipline with your fresh perspectives, leading the team into uncharted creative territories
• Translate briefs into pioneering UX strategies, designs and prototypes that shape the nature of our projects
• Master the complexity of user context, abilities and expectations, and display an unparalleled understanding of cutting edge trends with the ability to incorporate them
• Show, don’t tell by creating high fidelity prototypes that make ideas come to life for both clients and team members
• Enrich projects by collaborating with an extraordinary team of design, motion, sound, and tech specialists

 

REQUIREMENTS

• An impressive UX design portfolio that shows skill, relevance and boldness
• A hands-on approach to the work
• Excellent skills in UX prototyping software, Mac office and preferably motion software.
• Fluent in English
• You are currently receiving education or have you recently graduated from a Dutch university (2026)
• You love working with people, being part of a team and helping others
• You have an (almost) infinite supply of energy and are practically immune to stress
• You enjoy work that is disciplined and accurate but can be flexible when needed
• You are available to start mid-May for preferably a 5+ months internship, full-time (40 hours per week)

OUR RECRUITMENT FLOW 

1. Optional Initial Call, 15-minute call with a Talent Acquisition Team for an English check and a brief questionnaire.
2. HR Interview, up to a 30-minute interview with a Talent Acquisition Team to discuss culture check and expectations.
3. Technical Interview, up to 45-minute technical discussion with our experts.
4. Optional Final Interview, up to a 30-minute employee conditions meeting with the Manager and People Partner.
5. References, we’ll request references at this stage.
