As an HR intern you will become a valuable member of the HR team and help us on the journey to make DPDK the best company to work for. You will work closely with our Head of HR and provide support in all different areas of HR, such as Talent Acquisition, Employee Experience and fostering our culture.

Get ready to flex your recruitment muscles by sourcing candidates from multiple channels, planning interviews and selection procedures, executing flawless onboarding and off-boarding processes, and contributing to our culture by organising amazing events. RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
  • Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
  • Plan interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
  • Assess candidate information, including resumes and contact details
  • Carefully design job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each position’s requirements
  • Welcome new hires and assist with their onboarding (e.g. preparing the necessary paperwork and scheduling trainings)
  • Help with the send-off and off-boarding of existing employees
  • Forster our culture by hosting and organising company events and shaping an exceptional employee experience

REQUIREMENTS

  • Your project management skills are out of this world
  • People-oriented
  • Intercultural communication is effortless for you
  • Your eagerness to learn is unmatched
  • Hands-on experience with full-cycle recruiting using various interview techniques and evaluation methods
  • You are skilled in using professional social networks (LinkedIn, in particular)
  • You’re capable of communicating your thoughts clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • A keen understanding of the differences between various roles within organisations
  • Fluent in the English language both written and spoken, speaking Dutch is a plus
  • You are currently studying or hold a BSc or MSc in Human Resources Management, Organisational Psychology or a relevant field at a Dutch University (2025).
  • You are available to start in January 2026
  • You are able to work from the Rotterdam office twice a week
  • You are available preferably for a 5+ months internship, full-time (40 hours per week)

OUR RECRUITMENT FLOW 

  1. Optional Initial Call, 15-minute call with a Talent Acquisition Team for an English check and a brief questionnaire.
  2. HR Interview, up to a 30-minute interview with a Talent Acquisition Team to discuss culture check and expectations.
  3. Technical Interview, up to 45-minute technical discussion with our experts.
  4. Optional Final Interview, up to a 30-minute employee conditions meeting with the Manager and People Partner.
  5. References, we’ll request references at this stage.
