Digital Marketing Internship

Join the DPDK family as a Digital Marketing Intern, where you'll support our clients' growth across Europe and the United States. In this role, you’ll contribute to both paid and organic marketing efforts, helping to drive impactful campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences.

You’ll assist in creating and optimizing content for our clients’ websites and social media channels, and help in creating marketing campaigns that deliver. Your creativity will shine as you help bring content strategies to life, while your eagerness to learn will be nurtured by collaborating with some of the best in the digital industry.

Working closely with our team of experts, you’ll contribute to channel strategy, data analytics and campaign optimization. You’ll get to explore marketing tools like Google Analytics, HubSpot, and social media platforms, learning how to set up, monitor, and enhance campaigns for maximum impact.

Your role will also involve supporting the analysis of campaign performance, helping to draw insights and refine strategies. As part of the Strategy Team, you’ll bring fresh ideas to the table, and your passion for marketing will be fueled by a collaborative environment that values learning and innovation.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Assist in boosting our clients' online presence through SEO, PPC campaigns and social media engagement, helping to attract a broader audience
  • Help transform content strategies into engaging campaigns, focusing on storytelling to drive user engagement and support lead generation
  • Work alongside the team to contribute to creative content strategies, using data-driven insights to align with business goals
  • Participate in content experiments and market research, learning to refine and enhance content effectiveness
  • Help structure and optimize campaigns across various online channels, ensuring consistency and a cohesive strategy
  • Gain hands-on experience with digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, VWO and Hotjar, assisting in the setup and data collection
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of campaign performance through A/B testing and analysis
  • Assist in using CRM systems, such as HubSpot or Salesforce, to help with personalized marketing initiatives
  • Work with the development teams to support SEO performance from both a technical and content perspective
  • Help prepare regular reports and share insights using analytics tools to support the optimization of ongoing campaigns

REQUIREMENTS

  • Enthusiastic about transforming content strategies into engaging campaigns and learning how to captivate and convert audiences
  • Interested in using data and analytics to drive marketing decisions and willing to embrace new tools and methodologies
  • Some experience or coursework in using Google Ads, Google Analytics and social media platforms like Facebook and Instagram
  • A keen interest in keeping up with trends in both organic and paid marketing channels
  • A creative thinker with strong communication skills who enjoys working in a team to develop marketing content
  • Willingness to dive into both strategic thinking and the hands-on execution of marketing tasks
  • Ability to manage your workload and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems like WordPress or Drupal is a plus, but not required
  • Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a relevant degree program in a Dutch University (2025)
  • Available to start beginning of February 2026
  • Available preferably for a 5+ months internship, full-time (40 hours per week)
  • Fluent in English, both spoken and written, Dutch is a plus
  • Able to work from the Rotterdam office twice a week

OUR RECRUITMENT FLOW 

  1. Optional Initial Call, 15-minute call with a Talent Acquisition Team for an English check and a brief questionnaire.
  2. HR Interview, up to a 30-minute interview with a Talent Acquisition Team to discuss culture check and expectations.
  3. Technical Interview, up to 45-minute technical discussion with our experts.
  4. Optional Final Interview, up to a 30-minute employee conditions meeting with the Manager and People Partner.
  5. References, we’ll request references at this stage.
