Full-Stack Developer

DPDK is looking for a Full-Stack Developer that manages and oversees the structure of DPDK’s overall codebase.

Your standard way of working revolves around using modern web standards with a focus on performance, SEO, accessibility, usability, and security. In close collaboration with Technology and DevOps teams, you will be responsible for maintaining, securing, and upgrading our component library and related packages. You are the wizard of the development of DPDK's products and are in close contact with project teams on a daily basis.

In this position, you’ll find creative solutions with old and new technologies to help leading brands and businesses reach their target audience and become successful.

RESPONSIBILITIES 

• You’ll be the base of all exceptional projects that DPDK produces across multidisciplinary teams
• You’re proficient with high-performance solutions
• You have a clear vision of the long-term stability of platforms and code and know how to stay focussed
• You own both frontend and backend disciplines and use the terminal like your best friend to optimize your daily workflow
• Provide technical and conceptual input to your interdisciplinary (developers, designers, producers) stakeholders to opt for improvements and next steps in the evolution of our codebase
• Create accurate estimations for new and innovative projects, by analyzing functionalities, risks, and possibilities
• Assist and collaborate on daily issues teams are encountering to help out on these tasks by upgrading our codebase

REQUIREMENTS

• For this role, we’re looking for someone with 5+ years of experience in a similar capacity at a high level
• Professional level of English both verbal and written, Dutch is plus
• Hands-on knowledge of prevailing technical stacks is essential as we produce ever more advanced products and platforms. Experience with the following is required: Next.js, Prismic & Payload.
• You’re experienced in providing quick ballparks and accurate project estimates, clearly defining the scope and underlying assumptions
• In addition to knowing your languages, you can advise on hosting infrastructure, security, performance issues, test & automation tools, and general packaging managers
• You’re a strong communicator, confident in presenting (technical strategies) to C-level crowds, and know how to motivate teams

2. HR Interview, up to a 30-minute interview with a Talent Acquisition Team to discuss culture check and expectations.
3. Technical Interview, up to 1-hour technical discussion with our experts.
4. Optional Final Interview, up to a 30-minute employee conditions meeting with the Manager and People Partner.
